Thank you for being a part of the inaugural dawn.friends event at La Fontana last Friday! It was truly inspiring to witness everyone's genuine interest in connecting. Many of you shared your surprise at discovering so many peers facing similar challenges and opportunities in our field and expressed a desire for future gatherings. Consider it a done deal.
For those who couldn't join us, we missed you and look forward to connecting at our next event.
One Insight from Me
Our first event reaffirmed a core belief of mine: igniting innovation is fundamentally about bringing together curious minds to share knowledge, experiences, and ideas. However, despite having great ideas, I also observed that many of us struggle to bring them to life, especially within a reasonable timeframe and with limited resources. This is where the right people, principles, and processes become essential.
In my experience, innovation often fails due to a lack of clear strategy and priorities. This leads to attempts at everything at once and accomplishing nothing effectively. Over the years, I have developed a set of principles and processes based on the best concepts in innovation and transformation. These principles come from countless attempts at bringing ideas to life. I look forward to sharing these insights with you, step by step, so you can successfully develop and implement your innovations.
One Question for You
What is the one idea you would like to implement, and what is the biggest challenge you face in doing so? How can this network help you solve it?
Your feedback is crucial as I shape future events to better meet your needs. Please feel free to text, message, or email me with your thoughts. I look forward to hearing from you!
One Opportunity for Us
Together, we can address your challenges in innovation. I’m planning to focus our next gathering on the basics of building innovation and transformation processes. I'll share insights I've gathered over the years and how I've applied them in client projects and my own business to help you build a more structured approach to strategy and innovation.
For those of you who can't wait, I've attached a business model assessment tool from the innovation Guru Alexander Osterwalder here. These two pages are a great starting point for evaluating your current business model performance and identifying potential risks. Understanding where you stand and what challenges you face is the first step in developing a great filter for any ideas you generate. Please feel free to check out this tool and reach out to me with any thoughts or questions about it.
